Exciting Changes for IPS in Autumn 2018

IPS has revised the degree requirements for students applying for Autumn Quarter 2018-19. Prerequisite courses will no longer be required, although applicants are strongly encouraged to complete undergraduate-level courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and statistics before starting the program. IPS is also streamlining its course offerings, and adding a new area of specialization in cyber policy. Details on the redesigned program are now available.

The application deadline for matriculation in Autumn Quarter 2018-19 is January 9, 2018.  All materials must be received by 11:59 pm PST.

A Dynamic and Interdisciplinary Approach to Global Policy

Each year we welcome a select group of exceptionally talented students to the Ford Dorsey Program in International Policy Studies (IPS). The Admissions Committee values international experience and academic preparation, including previous coursework in economics and statistics. We encourage applicants of varied backgrounds to apply.

There is one admissions deadline in January of every year for enrollment in Autumn Quarter of the same year.  Please see How to Apply for details on the application process.
